C:\My Documents\Riptide\out Where you have it located at.
Its where your save game files are, its usually in your «my documents»
not steam.
I dont know where, everyones computer is different. It might or might not
make a difference, I didnt notice much.
It works for both 1+2.
Antialiasing has been a problem for some people with this game. This is a screen-draw method that tries to make all edges smooth, and with as many objects on the screen at once, it can take a lot of processing time to do all the calculations. There is no direct interface to turn it off, but you can change it yourself. Go into your video.scr (C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\Riptide\out\Settings). You may have to right-click and turn off the read-only attribute first.
Open it with notepad and change the FSAA from whatever it is to FSAA(0), that may make a huge difference. I have mine set on absolutely maximum settings, but with antialiasing off, and it runs perfectly.
If that doesn’t work, turn the shadows down or off. This is a similar issue, dynamic lights (particularly with flares or flaming weapons) cause a lot of constant recalculations.

I can’t think of anything else specific, but I’ll paste some general troubleshooting instructions I use a lot here:
I will assume you tried updating your video drivers already. If not, try that first.
If it is still not working, try these steps. They have helped correct issues for many people.
Do these one at a time in order:
1. Shut down Steam, restart it running as administrator, start the game. You should only have to do it this way once.
2. If that fails, verify the files (In steam, go to library, right click on Dead Island Riptide, Select local files, the push the Verify Integrity of Game Cache button.)

A: Переставить Русификатор на Английский, или ждать патч.
Q: Как отключить стимовский микрофон.
A: Скачать прогу MorphVOX или что-то подобное (она создает виртуальный микрофон) и этот виртуальный микрофон ты ставишь в настройках стима.
Q: Проблема при игре с друзьями , мы либо подконектится не можем , либо нас выкидывает постоянно , может знает кто в чем дело ?
A: На форуме Акеллы советуют отключить DEP, но не факт что поможет.
Q: Не работает клавиатура.
A: Все дело в антивирусе ,если вы пользуетесь Avast’om то удаляйте его.. 100% гарантии что поможет нет.
Q: Как-то можно отключить вертикальную синхронизацию?
A: поставь твикер. также возможно исправляет проблему с черным экраном.
Q: Можно ли поменять вид во время езды?
A: Нет, ездить в игре вы будете не часто, так что потерпите, кому не нравиться
Q: Как поменять оружие? Колесиком и 1,2,3,4 не работает?
A: Жмем на колесико и выбираем

A: Что бы сохранения работали нужно в директории с игрой Диск:/Games/Dead Island/out/ создайте две папи: save и profiles

A: Нужно скачать этот файл. После, поместите его в корень (установленной) игры, Dead Island/DI.

A: Задание будет доступно в 3 акте (джунгли), пока забудьте про него

A: Нужно просто взять сок\топливо и поставить его на мигающие призрачные ячейки, куда указывает курсив на карте
Q: Где в игре бензопила?
A: В 3 акте – джунгли, подняться выше от места разбросанных медикаментов на мосту и вы увидете как Джейсон крошит зомби, вам не надо с ним сражаться, просто бегите в здание и там найдете бензопилу.
Q: Как в игре заработать легкие бриллианты?
A: Они находятся в сейфе мери после одного случая, что там будет, просто поднимайтесь в кабинет мера, берите бриллианты из сейфа, что под столом и идете в низ в канализацию, потом опять заходим в мерию и так до нужного количества
Q: Как в игре легко покачаться?
A: Легче всего играть с более опытными парнерами в ихней игре, так опыт у вас будет идти быстрее, правда вы можете не успеть за оружием и позже у вас могут возникнуть оружие
Q: Сколько нужно про хождений для 50 уровня?
A: 2 или чуть меньше, просто не убегайте от зомби, а убивайте их, и выполняйте все дополнительные задания
Q: Что за черепа на видео сверху и для чего они?
A: Эти черепа вы можете найти и позже поставить в определенные места. Это схема для создания веселых орудий (как по мне кроме рук-инфеймоса (666), ничего интересного там нет, советую не заворачиваться с ними)
Q: Сколько примерно займет прохождение игры?
A: Если с выполнением всех побочных заданий – 30 часов
Q: Где найти схему на патроны к оружию?
A: Для пистолетов и дробовиков – в полицейском участке, для автомата – после выполнения квеста у женщины по поиску сына, в джунглях, в верхней деревне.
Q: Как выполнить задание – «убить тарана тараном»?
A: Раскачивайте репера (черного брата, нашего) до более мение нормального уровня, после этого открываем у него способность толкать врагов при ускорении (иконка быка), ищем тарана, отнимаем у него все жизни оружием и после отнимаем последние его хп с помощью ускорения
Q: Как выполнить убить мясника топором?
A: Ищем томогавк, идем в 3 главу, находим там босса, что встречается в джунглях (без рук, с длинными белыми волосами) и долбим его томагавком
Q: При взятии задания лист с заданием абсолютно черный.
A: Перезапуск игры. Проблема появляется при сворачивании игры (Alt + Tab)
