Hello, I recently purchased an Omen 15 gaming laptop and now I can’t open the Gaming Hub. I have tried pressing the omen button, opening from the app list, and launching from the Microsoft store. Nothing works. When I try to open from the store and taskbar I receive the following message.

I tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it but that did not work. Then I reset my pc to see if that would turn it back to how it was when I purchased it. That didn’t work either and now I wiped my laptop clean for nothing. What now?

No unfortunately. Well, you might but it would be wonky and the partitioning is the problem. The creation software looks for USB sticks.

You need at least an 8GB pen drive ( but no larger than 32 ) for the Microsoft plain copy of Windows.

You can also restore your HP with a factory install with all the HP programs already on it via the HP Cloud Recovery.

You would have to have a 32GB drive for that one and it does take longer to do, but will restore all the partitions for the UEFI Diagnostics tools to work again also. The link below gives the instructions and the link to download the files.

NOTE: It would be best to disconnect any additional drives that might be installed in your PC. Off hand I didnt look up if you have an HDD installed with an SSD. If so, disconnect the HDD first. It will save a whole bunch of potential problems with either method of recovery you choose.

Omen Gaming Hub — «Undervolting» menu is not working. OCC SDK cannot be installed.

I’m using «OMEN Laptop — 15-ek0002nt» model Omen 15 2020 laptop. Today Omen Control Center updated from Windows Store to version v. 11.0.8.0 and its name changed to «Omen Gamin Hub». Most important change is now we have «Undervolting» tab!

Unfortunately «Undervolting» tab is not working for me it says:

The required HP services cannot be found. To resolve this, please click the «Update» button below.
Please note OMEN Gamin Hub will close and your PC will be rebooted during the process.

If this problem persists, please contact us using the feedback button, or contact HP support.

When I click «Update» button it automatically download latest «OMEN Command Center SDK Package»:

It says installed, reboots PC but nothing changes, when I go to «Undervolting» tab, same message and download process starts again. Also I cannot install SDK manually, no errors, reboots but no SDK installed.

I remember that I already installed this version before and the file «sp110577.exe» is exists on my downloads folder so I cannot remember wrong. Also «Network Booster» is working, which means that SDK is installed. If it was not installed, «Network Booster» should not work.

Also I cannot see SDK record in Windows Apps & Features list or in add/remove programs.

Hi, this message of driver required means the Intel XTU services failed, the undervolting feature is rely on XTU service, so OMEN Gaming Hub will pop up message to require driver updates. but currently your laptop installed latest XTU driver, it is newer than OMEN SDK driver (including XTU drivers as well but might be older version), so even reinstall OMEN SDK by following pop up message link still fail.

I know engineering team will release new OMEN SDK driver to include latest XTU drivers.

At this moment, you can try below steps to see if it works.

Uninstall your Intel Extreme tuning utility, and roll back your XTU driver to previous version (in Device manager, software components), after roll back to previous version, open OMEN Gaming Hub to follow the link to install OMEN SDK driver again. After reboot, check the «underbolting» feature again. Thanks.

Can’t update the OMEN Gaming Hub

So, I have bought this laptop yesterday, 11/25/2020. And yesterday the OMEN Gaming Hub was working completely fine, I could change the lighting, etc. Everything was perfect! And today, 11/26/2020 I came from school and tried to open the OMEN Gaming Hub with by pressing on the OMEN button on the keyboard, it didn’t work. Then I opened the app by clicking it. It asked me to update it, then I clicked on »Update», it started updating but then, it suddenly stopped updating and nothing happen. Now I can’t control the lighting, I can’t open Undervolting or System Vitals.

I’ve tried to uninstall the OMEN Gaming Hub, it still asked for the driver update. I tried to download all the HP, Windows updates, but nothing worked. Please help me!

More information: When I try to open the Undervolting, it says that the required HP services cannot be found, to fix this click on the »Update» button. And when I click on it, it starts loading, but then it suddenly stops, and nothing happens.

When I try to open the System Vitals, it says that I have to update the drive. When I update it, the same thing happens.

I’m so sad about this situation, and I have no idea how to fix this. I’d appreciate the help so much!

Не могу скачать OMEN Game Hub из Microsoft Store

Не могу скачать OMEN Game Hub из Microsoft Store, нажимаю скачать и ничего не происходит. Уже все что можно перепробовал. У вас вообще есть поддержка?

I can’t download any apps from the Microsoft Store. Writes to install the product, update your device. Just recently updated the bios and everything else. For some reason, it does not see the equipment. What to do? The cache was reset, problems were fixed, another account was logged in, the program was reset, checked for errors, nothing helped. What could be the problem?
