First, subscribe to the dependencies above.
Second, launch the normal DayZ launcher, not DayZ SA Launcher, and in the bottom of the window it should verify that you just recently subscribed, and downloaded the mods. Goto the mods tab, right click on VPPAdminTools, and click on Open Folder.
Inside of the newly opened window, Copy both @VPPAdminTools, @CF from the !Workshop folder to your servers Root Directory. Next, you will have to add these mods to your start up command line. The vanilla process of installing mods is by adding -mod=@CF;@VPPAdminTools to your start up command line (Server). Please make sure that your last mod doesn’t end with a semicolon.
Most popular providers offer you automatic mod installation, if that’s not the case; follow the instructions above with your FTP access point or File Manager from your providers panel. Contact your provider for guides on how to use their services to install mods.
To add a SuperAdmin; The file SuperAdmins.txt file located in your Profiles folder at: VPPAdminTools/Permissions/SuperAdmins. The folder will automatically generate during first server startup after adding the mods. Within this file you will add steam ID’s, these id’s are for those who have the highest permissions over UserGroups. SuperAdmins are the only users in which can add other users into UserGroups. In order to make yourself super admin, you will need to add your own Steam 64 ID.
To setup a password; Navigate to Profiles/VPPAdminTools/Permissions/credentials.txt and follow the instructions written in the generated file. You MUST set a password otherwise the tool will not function. Server restart is required to apply changes. If you don’t wish to run the extra security layer (password input) follow these instructions: (vppDisablePassword = 1;) add to your server config to disable password security layer.
Note: If you add multiple steam id’s, each one has to be on it’s own line with no empty spaces at the start or end. You can get your Steam ID: http://steamid.io/
All the keybinds can be found in the game settings menu, keybinds tab under VPPAdminTools.

Vppadmintools dayz не работает
We had no problems with the update on the server. But the superadmin (that is, I) had problems on the 2nd. I could not start the admin panel (asks for a password, I can send screenshots), although I am a superadmin, and the server part of the VppadminTools mod is located on another computer and I do not have access to it. The person who has access to it is on vacation and will only be there in a week. How to be tell me please?
You probably can’t do anything until whoever has access to the server files is back in that case as they will need to create a password in Profiles/VPPAdminTools/Permissions/credentials.txt according to VPPAdminDiscord

Please Read!
New update introduces another layer of security. Due to recent exploits found, we have added the requirement of a password before using the tool
This provides a measure to counter player identity spoofing. Which allowed unwanted users to have unlimited access of the tool.
This means a new setup step that server owners will need to follow in order to get the tool functional.
You MUST create a password, the password can be shared with all of your trusted admins, this does NOT provide special permissions. Your user groups will stay the same.
Obtaining the password is not enough to enable the tools, you are still required to be part of a user group or a SuperAdmin
How to create & use password:
Step one: After you apply the new update to your server, upon startup a file will be created in the following location: Profiles/VPPAdminTools/Permissions/credentials.txt
Step two: Within that file, on the very first line you write your password. Maximum 32 characters in length. Save the file and reboot the server!
Step three: Press the keybind to toggle the tools, an input popup will guide you.
Note: ‘profiles’ is the directory where you can find server logs and mod configuration files.

DayZ | How To: Install & Configure VPPAdminTools Print
Install all the mods that follow using our «Steam Workshop» game panel function — How To: Install & Update Mods (Steam Workshop)
- CF
- VPPAdminTools
- Select the «Mods» or «DZSALauncher» (if you use DZSALauncher that is) commandline and enter the following into the ‘Mods’ field:
@CF;@VPPAdminToolsOnce the mod installation has completed, start your server up once in order for the VPPAdminTool files to be automatically generated — once the server has fully started, turn it back off.
Navigate to the following directory on your server using the File Manager: \profiles\VPPAdminTools\Permissions\SuperAdmins.txt
Click the pencil icon to the right side of the file name in order to edit it.
Once in this file you will need to retrieve your Steam64ID, you can do this by pasting a link to your Steam profile into this website: https://steamidfinder.com/Paste the ID you retrieve from this site into the SuperAdmins.txt and then save the file.
Start up your server, and using your configured keybinding you should now have access to the VPPAdminTools menu & Object Builder Tools.
In order to find out your current keybindings you can navigate to the in game options, then into controls, and finally the «Configure Keybindings» section. By default it will be:
END — Toggle VPPAdminTools ON/OFF (must be pressed first before you can access any features)

What is Vanilla++:
Vanilla++ is a DayZ workshop add-on which aims to add administration tools by implementing a collection of features which help communities manage their players while keeping the installation, and configuration simple for new, and advanced users.
Adding Mod to Server
First, subscribe to the dependencies: VPPAdminTools, CF on the Steam Workshop.
Second, launch the normal DayZ launcher, not DayZ SA Launcher, and in the bottom of the window it should verify that you just recently subscribed, and downloaded the mods. Goto the mods tab, right click on VPPAdminTools, and click on Open Folder.

Many hosting companies have different methods to adding mods to their server, and you will have to figure out the prefered way to add them to your server. Each hosting company is different.
Adding Mod to Client
First, subscribe to VPPAdminTools, CF and [VPPNotifications] (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1680673106) on the Steam Workshop. Steam will force you to download & load the dependencies.
Second, launch the DayZ Launcher. Go to the mod tab, and select CF, VPPNotifications and VPPAdminTools. Click launch, and play.
Note: Some server owners use DayZ SA launcher, and require you to join the server through the application. Please contact your community staff team for their prefered way to join their server.
Manual Formatting of Json Files
If you wish to manual edit these Json Configuration Files, please use JsonEditorOnline; however, all configuration, other than setting players as super admin, can be done in-game through the UI with the proper permission group, or by being a super admin.

If you have followed these steps correctly, you should be able to get in-game, and press the INSERT key to open the tools & login with your set password. Every button for every module will be on the right side of your screen, and can be opened, and closed by simply clicking on it.
